Rechargeable Lights – Product Information, Use, Care, and Disposal
Use
- Fully charge the battery light before first use.
- Only use the charging cable and power adapter supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.
- Switch on the light using the designated switch or touch sensor and select the desired brightness level or light color, if applicable.
- Only use the light for its intended purpose and observe the information on the protection class (e.g. for outdoor use).
- Avoid use in extreme temperatures and contact with fire or other strong heat sources.
Care and Cleaning
- Switch off the light and disconnect it from the charger before cleaning.
- Clean the housing with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the surface.
- Keep charging ports dry and free of dust and debris.
- Recharge the battery regularly, even if the light is not used for an extended period, to maintain battery life.
Battery Information
- Do not open, damage or throw the battery into fire.
- Protect the battery from direct sunlight, high heat and humidity.
- If the lamp becomes unusually hot, emits an odor, or shows visible damage, it must no longer be used.
Disposal
Electrical appliances and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Please hand in used battery-powered lights at a suitable collection point for waste electrical appliances or a collection point for batteries and rechargeable batteries. This way, valuable raw materials are recycled and the environment is protected.
