Notes on the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)

Electrical and electronic devices may not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of old devices separately from unsorted municipal waste and to hand them over to a suitable collection or return point.

The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on electrical and electronic devices indicates that the respective device must be disposed of separately from household waste at the end of its life.

Important information

  • Old batteries and rechargeable batteries that are not permanently installed in the device must be removed and disposed of separately before disposal.
  • Personal data must be deleted from the device on one's own responsibility before disposal.
  • Old electrical appliances can be handed in at municipal collection points or recycling centers.

We offer you the possibility to return old electrical appliances within the framework of legal regulations.

Information on packaging disposal

According to the provisions of the Packaging Act (VerpackG), we are obliged to ensure the proper recycling and disposal of our packaging. For this reason, we are part of the dual system "Der Grüne Punkt" (The Green Dot).

The sales packaging we use can be disposed of via the usual household collection systems:

  • Lightweight packaging (e.g. plastic, composite materials): Yellow bin / Yellow bag
  • Paper and cardboard: Paper bin
  • Glass packaging: Bottle bank (please separate by color)

Please return the packaging to the appropriate collection systems after use to enable environmentally friendly recycling.

Further information on the disposal and recycling of packaging can be found on the website of the dual system "Der Grüne Punkt".
